Today’s warm up is Bowser from the Mario Brother’s series. I thought it would be a better exercise to try and push the designs instead of just drawing the characters as they are. Had a lot of fun with this one!
Here’s today’s warm up..keeping in the Video Game theme, Sonic the Hedgehog today. Didn’t have much time for this one, so it’s a quick sketch with a few hints of color. Again with Copic Markers.
I had been trying to start up a warm up blog with a few fellow artists where we all draw the same character each day. I quickly realized I don’t have the time to do one every day! We got ahead of the game and did about 7 warm ups. The first week’s theme is Video Games. I encourage all you up and coming artists out there to join along and draw the daily character along with us. Today’s character is LINK from THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. Here’s mine..I will link some of my friends drawings if they post today as well. This was done with Copic Markers. I’m trying to keep all the warm ups between 30-60 minutes. Hopefully this will inspire some of you to draw some more every day!
